The Little Mix bombshell, 28, took the opportunity to prank Perrie Edwards, 27, as the pair joined Jimmy Hill to co-host his slot on Capital Radio last night.
While Jimmy caught up with Perrie about her lockdown adventures, Leigh-Anne soon joined the duo over FaceTime to fill them in on what she's been up to.
More importantly, the brunette beauty announced some very exciting, but very fake news.
"So, is there any exciting news? Do you have any secret projects or gossip you would like share?" Perrie asks.
To which cheeky Leigh-Anne responds: "Well, it's funny you mention that actually!
"I was going to tell you guys in person, but I feel like I couldn't wait," she joked before lifting her hand to the camera to flash her fake engagement ring.
Perrie's reaction was priceless, as she immediately screeched with the most shocked expression plastered across her face.
"You can't do that Leigh-Anne! I nearly died," the blonde babe complained.
It wasn't just the Little Mix babe's heart which skipped a beat after the priceless prank, as thousands of fans rushed to Twitter to share their thoughts on the timely joke.
"I genuinely nearly had a heart attack," quipped one elated fan.
"Leigh-Anne you simply cannot do that to us! Now I can't stop imagining you in a wedding dress," a second voiced.
While a third complained: "Omg why did you do this! No nobody is going to believe you when your beau finally does pop the question!".
"The way she held up her hand and her execution was just perfect. If her music career ever falls through she should really think about becoming an actress," a fourth suggested.
Leigh-Anne has been dating football star Andre Gray, 28, since 2016 so an engagement ring could definitely be on the cards any time soon.
While co-hosting the show with Jimmy, the girls also teased a huge collaboration for their next album.
Admitting that they have never been as excited about a project since their career began after winning the X Factor in 2011, the elated pair revealed that they can't share what it is just yet.
Perrie teased: "We can’t say too much 'cause it literally just - the email literally just got sent today – but it is one of the craziest things we’ve ever been asked to do, to the point where we were like ‘Is this a joke?’".
"I actually thought I was gonna cry. But what an opportunity though," she added.
Unfortunately, the girls were sworn to secrecy and couldn't reveal any more details about their next album.
But by the sounds of things, Little Mix fans are in for one hell of a treat!
