Sinitta "won't buy a hat" for Simon Cowell's wedding with girlfriend Lauren Silverman, as it won't ever happen.
The 56-year-old singer is Britain's Got Talent judge Simon's ex girlfriend and current BFF and has a damning view of his relationship with Lauren, after a week when Simon has had to make a denial about past affairs.
There had been claims that the 60-year-old music mogul was on the brink of splitting from Lauren, who is the mother of his six-year-old son Eric.
Fellow BGT judge Amanda Holden's daughter, eight-year-old Hollie had suggested Simon had split from Lauren during an Instagram Live video, which led to a hasty backtrack by Amanda.
Simon was also dogged by rumours that he had a relationship with Spice Girl Mel B, who stars with him on America's Got Talent.
The pair have a close friendship but Simon had to deny that they were ever more than 'just good friends'.
Sinitta has now waded into the debate and has claimed that Simon and Mel B were only ever just friends and that she wouldn't be planning on going to Simon and Lauren's wedding any time soon.
As part of Simon's 'inner circle', Sinitta has unique access to his life and she told The Sun: "You never know what is going on behind closed doors - so I won’t buy a hat for their wedding."
She also took aim at Lauren, saying that she needs to not get so stressed with Simon's friendships with the opposite sex.
Sinitta continued: “There was no Mel B affair. I was around them when Mel was on the show and she was otherwise happy and occupied.
“They are really good friends and Lauren should not have been so worried and upset about it. She had nothing to be upset about.”
For her part Heart Breakfast radio DJ Amanda was quick to dispel the rumour that her daughter had inadvertently started.
She said: "Simon is doing pretty well.
“Lauren sent me a picture the other day of Simon roasting a chicken. They are all loved up and cooking - enjoying each other.
“This is the most time they have spent together and it’s going very well so I think they’re happy.”
