A message to you from Alison Phillips, Mirror Editor
So another week done in lockdown. And I’m sure, like all of us here at the Daily Mirror, you’ve had your ups and down with the whole experience.
Firstly our thoughts go to all those people who have lost loved ones to this terrible disease and for whom life will never be the same again. And to those currently fighting coronavirus right now, we wish you all a steady return to health.
And not being able to meet up for a chat and a laugh with friends, family or colleagues can make the world seem a far greyer place. But as the children’s pictures in front windows remind us – even when the sky is grey there can be rainbows.
Every day the Daily Mirror brings you the reality of coronavirus, the facts you need to protect yourself and your loved ones while holding those in power to account.? But we’ve also worked to entertain you during the long hours of lockdown, with fascinating features, puzzles, quizzes and things to do.?
If you’re struggling to get out and about you can get your Mirror delivered for free for six weeks (you’ll still have to pay for the actual paper). See above for more details. And if someone you know has been missing their Mirror in recent weeks why not treat them to free delivery.?
Whatever comes our way, and in a time of few certainties, we can at least guarantee one thing – the Mirror will be with you every step of the way.
Alison, Daily Mirror Editor
