And it seems as though she provided the push for then-husband Brad Pitt to make a guest appearance, despite reports of "hesitation" from his side.
An ward-winning actor in his own right, Brad reportedly wasn't on board to appear on season 8's episode 'The One with the Rumor'.
Friends creator David Crane hinted that Jen - who tied the knot with brad back in 2000, before divorcing in 2005 - might have had to convince the Hollywood heartthrob to get over his doubts and go ahead with the cameo.
Speaking to HollywoodLife, David said: "I think [there was] a little bit [of hesitation]. Only because he’d never done TV in front of an audience, and it's a very specific skill set.
"I think it's probably a little intimidating if you haven't done it before. Obviously, it was up to him, and it was up to [Jennifer], and it was just a great piece of casting.
"When he said yes, we were thrilled."
His cameo proved to be a hit among viewers and the cast alike.
After visiting Jen on set many times during their marriage, it seemed like the perfect opportunity for Brad to star in an episode.
But Brad didn't want to steal the spotlight from Jen, as he did his best to keep out of sight from the audience to not cause a distraction.
Speaking about his brief but memorable appearance on the hit show, Brad previously revealed that he actually messed up the first line of the episode - leading to a reshoot.
He recalled: "I remember it. It's a great cast, man. I mean, they laugh and really have a great time with each other. But I flubbed my first line.
"We had to stop and start again."
But despite his concerns, his guest appearance actually got him an Emmy nomination in the category?for?Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series.
