Strictly'sRylan Clark-Neal has been forced to isolate for two weeks after coming into contact with someone who has tested positive with coronavirus.

The 32-year-old television host will miss two weeks of both his BBC Radio 2 show, as well as Strictly spin-off It Takes Two, which he co-hosts with Zoe Ball.

Although it was believed that Zoe would take on the hosting duties on her own, it’s now been confirmed that Gethin Jones will replace Rylan.

The Welsh TV presenter announced the news on Thursday evening’s show when he urged viewers not to adjust their TV sets because he appeared on screen.

Gethin revealed that he will be standing in for Rylan until he’s fit to come back to the BBC show.

Rylan took to social media on Thursday morning to share the news.

“I found out this week that someone I have been in recent contact with outside of work has tested positive for coronavirus," he wrote.
